Aurignac Finance advised on eight transactions in 2018, with values ranging from €5 to €95 million, averaging €20 million. This excellent year confirmed our positioning in the French market, with us ranked among the top 10 independent advisors by Thomson Reuters for the fifth year running.
In 2018, we invested heavily in our geographical coverage and in particular in building offers and assignments to serve our customers with our Mergers Alliance partners. Mergers Alliance is the world’s leading network of independent M&A advisors, and the network also delivered an excellent performance, as shown in the ranking opposite.
At the start of 2019, Mergers Alliance welcomed two new partners in countries of major importance to our day-to-day business: Proventis in Germany and Dresner Partners in the USA. Given this strengthening of our international presence, our close partnerships in France, our expanded team, and the many transactions in progress, 2019 looks set to be a year of strong growth for our clients.
